Description
A storyteller accompanied by a talking dog serves as host and narrator for these adaptations of classic children's stories. Jim Henson's Creature Shop provides special effects, animation, puppetry, and makeup to bring unique qualities to this dual-themed fantasy series. Disc 1 is hosted by John Hurt as the Storyteller and features European folklore; disc 2 is hosted by Michael Gambon as a grave-robbing Athenian version of the Storyteller with tales from Greek mythology.
