Description
Two episodes from the live television series You are there. D-Day: June 6th, 1944. The invasion of Western Europe begins on the Northeastern coast of France. American, British and Canadian troops from a fleet of 4,000 ships valiantly storm the beaches launching an offensive against Hitler's Atlantic wall. The invasion marks the beginning of the end of World War II. The liberation of Paris: August 25, 1944. Nazis desperately try to hold on, but acknowledge defeat.
