Lynn plays Blake Washburn, an embittered newspaper reporter with a negative view of the business world. Only when catastrophe strikes, and local business interests intervene to avert a tragedy, can Washburn begin to accept that perhaps there are two sides to every story. Marilyn Monroe makes a brief, but memorable appearance.
